Fantasy and Sci-Fi New Year’s Eve Costume Dinner

Join us for a night of fantasy fun!

We invite you to celebrate the arrival of  2022 in style. Enjoy the glamour and excitement of our spectacular musical Young Frankenstein and toast to the New Year twice (on Frankfurt and on London time). Bring it all out at the Fantasy and Sci-Fi costume dinner at the English Theatre Frankfurt. Come as a Superman, Yoda, Gandalf  or Barbarella. Be brave or scary, funny or terrifying, or just glittery and shiny.

The ETF looks forward to proceeding with the event under the 2G+ rule (vaccinated / recovered, plus tested). However, with the newest Hessian Corona regulations issued December 22nd and the corresponding ban on dancing, this New Year’s Eve celebration will still be festive and fun. Of course, the show with “Young Frankenstein” will go on!

Then, during the intermission, delicious drinks and scrumptious finger food will await you in the James Bar. After the show, the celebrations will continue with dinner, music, and cheerful toasts to the new year, followed by a costume contest. Of course, we’ll also make sure to provide comfortably spaced seating for you and your guests. 

Additionally, we have further refined our hygiene concept as follows:

  • Upon check-in, please have readily on hand your proof of vaccination / recovery, a current, certified antigen test (“Bürgertest, not older than 24 hours), and a valid ID
  • A mask mandate is in place for the entire theatre
  • Common social distancing rules are in effect in the entire theatre
  • Large group bookings are restricted to a maximum of 10 people / group

1.00 am         Midnight in London: Your opportunity to toast again
2.00 am         Best Costume Award

Bar open until 4.00 am        

Please note that on the New Year’s Eve Party photos will be taken. A selection of these will be used for social media. If you don’t want your photos to be published please inform our photographer.

Reserve a seat

Seating in the James Bar is limited. Please reserve a seat by purchasing a drink voucher with a minimum value of €15,00 per person. Your name then will be added to our reservation list. Please pick up your vouchers during the opening hours in the James the Bar, latest by 31.12.2021 before the show starts.
