Education

Welcome to the English Theatre´s Education Homepage!

Here at the English Theatre Frankfurt, we strive to improve the lives and minds of young people in the community, as well as providing teachers with the tools that they need to inspire both themselves and their students.

We offer workshops to school-goers and students from the age of 10 and up in various areas such as team –building, overcoming shyness, improving vocabulary, movement and acting as well as workshops based on our current productions. Teachers also have the chance to receive training to add to their teachers´ toolkit.

Please visit our section on workshops for more information.

Our Education Team works within Frankfurt and the surrounding areas, offering educational programmes as part of our outreach initiative. This year we offer a Drama Network, where pedagogues go into schools to support productions, and Words in Action, a weekly course taking place throughout the school year as well as co operating with extra-curricular theatre groups. Our Plays For Young Audience has been travelling throughout Hessen over the last three years and will be expanding it´s scope with a kick off tour for Cinderella, entertainment for the whole family, in Aschaffenburg this December. For more information please visit our Plays For Young Audiences section.

If you are interested in theatre and would like to make it more than a hobby, then join our Drama Club, open to students, adults, amateurs and professionals.

We want more!
